Tatsuro: I’m Tatsuro on vocals.
SATOchi: I’m Satochi. I’m playing on drums.
Miya: I’m Miya. I’m playing guitar.
Yukke: I’m Yukke. I’m playing bass.
What do you think about your old songs? Do you remember any specific moment in the creative process?
Miya: We have only good memories about our old songs. However, we're always changing our sound. If we don’t have any changes, it's not us anymore.
Tatsuro: Well, as he already said we are changing our sound. We add new genres in our music. For example we have a heavy sound, so last time we added dance music. It also depends on the current trends, if there was a dance, the next time it would be the heavy sound.
On November 23th your single Arcadia will be released. Could you tell us something about it?
Miya: It was self-produced project. We wanted something new, so we decided to ask DJ Daishi Dance to collaborate with us. So we added dance music to the sound.
What do you think the fan's reaction will be on your new release?
Tatsuro: This is a new sound for MUCC. I think it’s also quite unusual for the fans. Also, we might attract more listeners among people who didn’t listen to MUCC before.
You've changed your look recently. Who decided it?
Tatsuro: Art Director offered this idea. He listened to songs of the new single and advised us that this image will be suitable for single concept.
Do you want to collaborate with any overseas bands? If yes, which artists?
Miya: We’ve already collaborated with some bands. But my dream is to have collaboration with Radiohead.
Tatsuro: We’d like to make a video that would be under the direction of Tim Burton. This is my dream!
Yukke: Video of Tim Burton direction sounds cool! I like it. (Laughs)
SATOchi: I would like to meet Lady Gaga. (Laughs)
Since your formation, what kind of notable changes do you feel in yourself?
Tatsuro: I get old.
(All laugh)
Tatsuro: Our music and our concerts became of higher quality. But talking about dreams, as I already said I really want that Tim Burton would be the director of our video.
At the end, please tell some words to the fans for Nippon Project.
Miya: America and Europe are very far, however, I would like to visit many countries, and tour one more time.
Yukke: I look forward to the next tour in Europe. Also when I'm on Twitter and communicate with many people I feel closer to the world.
Tatsuro: If you use Internet communication, you can usually go and give concerts overseas, and overseas bands will come to Japan, so we can expand this relationship.
SATOchi: We're going to tour overseas again, please wait for us.
Nippon Project would like to thanks MUCC and their management for this interview
