Although still seemingly on hiatus, Dir en grey has released some exciting comments on Facebook and Twitter concerning their work on new songs and the upcoming documentary.

The staff of the Dir en grey Facebook responds to fan comments concerning the band's current state and actions:

“Hello everyone[!] I talked with the band manager and he said, "The band members are all doing fine. They are super busy with the production phase of the upcoming documentary video though! :)" I saw previously that a few of you posted on FB asking how the band members are doing so I wanted to share this piece of information with you! Weeks later, Kaoru mentions the new DVD and Blu-Ray sets on the official Dir en grey Twitter, in conjunction with the first news about upcoming songs:

“How is everybody doing?
We are excited to let you know we've started pre-production and writing new songs. I've been watching Euro 2012 and I feel a little tired from lack of sleep.
Check out the new DVD and Blu-ray out now. Stay tuned for another one releasing next month.
