After the concert at LIQUIDROOM ebisu last Saturday, acid android, the solo project of L'Arc~en~Ciel's drummer yukihiro, opened an official Facebook page.

On December 14th acid android will release the new live DVD, "acid android live 2011", a special limited edition priced 7500 yen.
The DVD will have the live performance at Club CITTA' in Kawasaki on August 4th. Plus it'll include a special booklet with unreleased photos of the show and an essay documenting it.

“SYNC MUSIC JAPAN,” a project organized by Japan Association of Music Enterprises (JAME), Music Publishers Association of Japan (MPAJ), and the Federation of Music Producers Japan (FMPJ) in order to expand the Japanese music market to a global scale, is broadcasting a live event held on 9/19 (Sun) and 9/20 (Mon)—[ABSTINENCE’S DOOR #005, #006] presented by D’ERLANGER. The live streaming of this event will be available on SYNC MUSIC JAPAN’s MySpace to introduce Japanese
rock to the whole world.

The very beginning of [ABSTINENCE'S DOOR] goes back to 2007, the year D’ERLANGER made a surprise announcement of their reunion. [ABSTINENCE'S DOOR #001] took place at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST in Tokyo with a lineup of top J-rock bands such as MUCC and MERRY. It was a showcase to present a unique ‘form’ of a live event that was nothing like those generically systemized music fests of the time. In 2008, they extended their ‘DOOR’ out to Fukuoka and Osaka in addition to Tokyo. Their casting was unique in their own way to have picked out bands with ‘self identity’ and ‘new styles.’ Their ‘DOOR’ has steadily developed through unique planning and styles for these past years.

Finally in 2010, [ABSTINENCE'S DOOR] is opening a brand new chapter. [ABSTINENCE'S DOOR #005, #006] will take place at STUDIO COAST, the sacred and historical place for this series of events. The lineup includes bands beyond generational boundaries such as acid android, defspiral, girugamesh, HEAD PHONES PRESIDENT and PIA from Korea.

Taiwan Live is Coming Up!

Not only in Japan, but the ‘DOOR’ is reaching out to Taiwan this year. Numbered #007, this live will be the first overseas ‘DOOR of the series. D'ERLANGER and PIA from Korea (also playing in #006) will be joined by OVER DOSE, a Taiwanese band. [ABSTINENCE'S DOOR] keeps on evolving by the hands of D'ERLANGER in their own dignified style.
