This year, SYNC MUSIC will be supporting and promoting “J-ROCK MATTERS presented by BARKS”, a showcase performance which will include SID and flumpool!
The live concert will be held at Music Matters 2013 Main Stage at Clark Quay (Singapore) on May, 23rd at 9 pm (Singapore Time).

However, even if you’re not in Singapore, you will still have the chance to fully enjoy this awesome live!

We’ve got juicy news today about two full album releases!

THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S announced the release of a new album, titled “REVERBERATIONS”. It will come out on July, 20th in two versions, Type A and B. Type A includes 11 songs and a DVD with the music clip and making of for “Raimei”, while Type B is a CD only version.

And also defspiral announced the release of a full album for May, 22nd ! The title will be “VOYAGE”. This time we have only one version with 10 songs, including the band’s most recent singles GLARE and Masquerade (which we featured here and here).

Spring is surely a time full of releases... and of eye candies, in the form of PV previews! We selected a few interesting bands for you to watch (and if you missed our most recent news, please enjoy also Kiryu , Redrum and Lost Ash ).

Going in chronological order, first comes Memento Mori; we already talked about their recent mini-album release here . Gackt recently announced that he’s going to release two best-of albums this summer!

The titles are "BEST OF THE BEST vol.1 -MILD-" and "BEST OF THE BEST vol.1 -WILD-" and they will both come out on July, 3rd. We don’t know any detail about the tracklists yet, but judging from the titles we suppose that the first one will be focused on ballads and slower songs, while the second one will feature rock and heavier tracks.

Both albums will come in a limited version and in a regular version: the limited ones will both include a DVD or Blu-ray disc, while the regular version is a CD only version.
If you’re planning to buy both albums, you might consider buying the Limited Box set which includes both records plus a special item.

What we know is that both albums will however include the track “Claymore”, which is also the theme song for the Japanese version of the most recent Silent Hill movie series’ installment, "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D".

Many of you may not be familiar with the name GYZE, but now it’s a good time to introduce them, since this promising j-rock metal band is going to release first full length album, titled "Fascinating Violence"!

You might have heard of GYZE because last year the members joined ex-DELUHI's Aggy in a short-lived band called “Garson". Though “Garson” disbaded, GYZE is still going strong, and the album will come out in June, 4th.

It’s also worth noticing that the guitarist/vocalist Ryoji is currently in Italy for a few days, to work on the album with the producer Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi).

We already talked about Undercode Production's final live DVD; now it’s Nega’s turn.

The band, which was signed to UCP and announced its disbandment last year, had a final live on April 29th at Ikebukuro EDGE.
This live will now be released on DVD, you can find all the details below. It currently can be found only on UCP online shop; by ordering before June 2nd, you will also receive a special 30 minutes long DVD and a message postcard signed by the member of your choice.

The band already released a best album titled “NEGATIVISM-TRACE” in March, and a free live distributed single titled “THE LAST TIMES FOREVER” at the end of April.

A few months ago we interviewed DIV on their latest single "Taste of Life", released just in April.

However, the young band is surely keeping itself busy with activities; it was revealed that yet another single will come out in July!
The title will be “ゴールデンキネマ劇場” (Golden Cinema Gekijou)” and it will be released on July 17th.
Not many details are available yet, however you should check DIV’s OHP and the member’s blog on Ameba to catch a glimpse of their new look!
This time they went for an almost total black. What do you think about it?

Spring is surely a time of renewal and bustling activity for everyone, bands included!
Many artists announced the release of new material, so here’s a small digest.

First comes the all female band exist†trace ; their new single “Diamond” will come on July 3rd in two versions, a limited on and a regular one. Limited version costs 1890 yen, and it includes 9 tracks (3 new songs and 6 karaoke versions) and a DVD with the track list PV, while regular version costs 1050 yen and it comes with six tracks (3 new and 3 karaoke versions).

Moran comes second: their new single will come out on July 10th and the title will be Hollow Man. At the moment we don’t have any details, so please stay tuned for more info!

The third announcement comes from the indie band Black Gene for the Next Scene (BFN) for short. The band will release both a single and a full album! The single will come first on July 24th, the title is “CHANCE TO CHANGE” and there will be two types. On August 28th BFN’s first full album will hit the shelves, with the title “Dance to Rave ～脳内シェイクなsong達～ ( Dance to Rave ～Nounai Shake na songtachi～ )”, in three types. We will surely keep you up-to-date on this one!

Last but not least we have BORN. The band will release two new singles!
The first one will be HONESTY, which will come out on June 12th and will be released in two versions, limited and regular. And on July 03rd there will be another release! It’s the turn of “MOTHER”, which will have once again two versions. We don’t have any additional details, but please look forward to them both!
